I joined my local gym about a year ago and I was really happy to get started with my personal fitness goals. That’s why I was happy to find out that the gym also offered personal trainers. I took advantage of one of these personal trainers and seriously regret it. He pushed me too hard and I ended up damaging one of the ligaments in my hip. This made it difficult for me to even walk for few months. There was no way that I was going to be working out during that time. This set me back in my fitness goal quite a bit. However, after recovery, I knew I wanted to try to get back in shape again. I just wanted to make sure that I did not get hurt again either. That’s when a friend told me about certified fitness experts. Certified fitness experts have taken special classes and they actually know what they’re doing. Personal trainers, on the other hand, are mostly just there to motivate you. Sometimes they motivate you too much and you end up hurting yourself like I did. Luckily, my friend directed me to a certified fitness expert that works at a gym a little bit further for my house. I booked a session with this fitness expert and I was very impressed. He did motivate me to push myself but he was also very careful with starting me out at very low weight. He explained that we would build up to the heavier equipment over the course of many months, and even years. I think that’s a good plan.
