My hubby thought the two of us would save money by renting our own carpet cleaner, and our carpet has needed cleaning for over a year now… With a pet, two kids, in addition to two adults, the carpets have become rather dirty, so the two of us rented the carpet cleaner in addition to diagnosed the entire condo in a weekend, however it was a lot of labor in addition to the two of us were proud of ourselves when the two of us were all done. However, it’s been over a week now in addition to there seems to be a problem, then the condo odors actually musty in addition to I’ve noticed a few spots of mold on the wall near the carpeting. These mold spots are in more than one room. I fear the two of us did not vacuum up enough of the water. When I looked online about what to do about this, it suggested that the two of us turn the a/c on. Apparently the a/c removes moisture from the air. It doesn’t matter that it’s 76 degrees outside, the two of us cranked that a/c down to about 55, then every one of us also re-rented the carpet cleaner in addition to are going to go back over all of the floors in addition to vacuumed up more water. The other thing that is suggested is that the two of us get a dehumidifier for every room of the house. That’s going to set us back a few dollars however I would rather spend the money now rather than later. Every one of us need to take care of this mold problem before it gets actually bad. Hopefully, between the dehumidifier in addition to the a/c, we are able to do that. It’s funny, what the two of us thought would save us money, is honestly ending up costing us in the long run.
