You can’t even take off enough layers to be comfortable.
I get it… There are people who have weird Heating & A/C preferences. That honestly is okay with me. I certainly understand that nobody is the exact same with their preferences, & I respect their ability to have their own opinion. However, in my opinion, it is truly best to be on the side of having too much A/C than it is to be on the side of having a great deal of heat. This is because you can handle colder temperatures with much greater ease than blazing hot temperatures. What would you do if you walked into an apartment that you knew had a tendency to use the air conditioner appliance at a setting that was higher than what you are comfortable with? You would entirely grab a sweatshirt. With a single article of clothing, you are able to overcome the frosty air from the air conditioner & adore the remainder of your evening. However, what are you supposed to do when you walk into a room in the middle of Winter time & the thermostat is set to 96 degrees! At this point, you would be terribly uncomfortable in even a t-shirt. You can’t even take off enough layers to be comfortable. Instead, you have to rest there & sweat it out because asking someone to adjust the thermostat can be rude. I really don’t like it when I walk into an apartment & the heating appliance is obviously too warm. I understand it if you are an older person & you are required to keep the temperature warm. But sincerely, rather than making everyone sweat because of the oil furnace, you could just bundle up individually & reset the temperature control altogether.
