Last weekend, I kept hearing the strangest noise in the ceiling above my bed! It was strenuous to pinpoint the odd sound, plus my wifey said that she did not hear anything.
In fact, she thought that I was going crazy.
I could hear the sound in the living room, even though I could not hear the noise anywhere else in the house. I started to feel there could be an animal trapped in the attic. I did not want to go into the attic to look for complications, even though I continued to hear the odd sound for numerous afternoons… On the second morning, I climbed up the stairs into the attic to look for the source of the unusual sound. I carefully moved around the Attic plus made my way to the space above my living room. I had a flashlight in my hand. I shined the light all around the section plus suddenly found the source of the noise, but there was loose duct tape on the outside of the air duct above the living room. If the Heating as well as A/C equipment wasn’t on, I might not have been able to see the duct tape moving around. I got lucky, plus I right away knew that loose duct tape was the source of my strength sounds. I did not have any of the right materials to do the job properly, even though I grabbed some masking tape to make a quick repair. I went to the hardware store plus purchased some tape that is made just for air duct. I found the problem plus fixed it, plus now there are no odd noises coming from my living room ceiling.
