My husband and I fight about absolutely everything.
It’s always been this way, but it’s been much worse lately for some reason. I’m not sure what our problem is, but we are all stressed out and we are definitely getting on each other’s nerves more than usual. These days, we are fighting about our HVAC system more than anything else. My husband is always hot and I am always cold. He’s always sneaking around and trying to turn the air conditioning on when I’m not looking and it makes me so mad that I can’t stand it. I will come home from work some days and the house feels like I’m walking into a freezer. It’s gotten so bad that I have had to put an electric space heater in my bedroom just so I can get warm enough to go to sleep at night. This isn’t a problem for my overheated husband because he has been sleeping on the couch for the past two months. I hope he enjoys his A/C more than he enjoys sleeping in our bed! We got into a shouting match just last week because I turned the A/C off and turned on the furnace. My husband got so mad that the furnace was on that I thought he was going to punch the wall or something. It was absolutely ridiculous. I’m so sick of his nonsense that I think I’m going to file papers next week. When the judge asks why we want a divorce I’m going to tell him that we have irreconcilable HVAC differences. I bet that will be a first!
