My buddy and I are supposed to play music in the streets tomorrow evening but I am coming down with something and am not sure I want to be cold all night while drumming out there. I’m thinking of buying a portable gas heater though so I can drum in comfort. They make some small ones that are very light and easy to carry so I think I could set it up beside us when we play so our bodys stay warm. A heater would be nice because my hands get cold and it is hard to drum sometimes. I think the local contractor has a few gas heaters in stock, so as long as the price is good, I think we will be in business. We usually play for a few hours so I need to make sure the gas tank is big enough to last for that long. I think they also make battery powered electric heaters so that could be an option too. I think whichever one is cheapest and easiest to carry is going to be my choice. I think the HVAC store is also having a sale on HEPA filters so I might grab one for my central heating unit because the one I have now is falling apart. It is one of those washable types and I think I have washed it a few times too many. I am waiting to get paid this weekend and then I will visit the HVAC business and see what they have for me.
