I have been a teacher for about ten years now & I actually love what I do. I teach first grade & the kids actually are so sweet. I love getting up-to-date kids every year & learning about their lives. I suppose that teaching is actually what I was meant to do & I am so happy that our mom convinced me it was a good method to take that summer time internship at the local middle school. Since I have been teaching at the same school for so long I suppose they have given me one of the best classrooms in the school. It’s right next to the cafeteria & our kids love that… However, something happened a few weeks ago & I am still not over it yet. The air conditioner in our classroom stopped toiling one day & I reported it immediately to the principal of the school. I told his that I would not be able to teach with the air conditioner because I would be tepid & the kids would not be able to concentrate when they were distracted by the tepid classroom. The principal told me that our school recently was the victim of budget cuts & that I might not be able to have the air conditioner toiling in our classroom again as quickly as I wanted. So I knew that I was going to have to take matters into our own hands & purchase a few fans around the classroom to help cool things off. I realized a few days later that our classroom was the only one without a toiling air conditioner so I was actually hoping that they would be able to get it fixed fast!
