The issue with high humidity

If there is something I have l received, it’s that in order to have a comfortable home, you have to have typical humidity levels.

I have been on both sides of the extremes, either too high humidity and too low humidity, and they both are awful in their own ways.

Usually since I live in a tropical environment, my humidity is too high. When the humidity gets too high, this is a good breeding ground for mold, and at one point I had my attic covered in mold thanks to the high humidity. Not only is high humidity exhausting because of the mold issues, but it is exhausting for your health as well. I noticed I started sniffling a lot more and feeling unwell when my humidity rose, and at first I thought I had a cold. It wasn’t until I had a professional heating and cooling professional out that she pointed out to myself and others the actual issue. Once I was able to get the humidity down to a normal level, my flu symptom symptoms went away. I don’t struggle with high humidity as much anymore, thanks to getting a dehumidifier. I consistently have my dehumidifier ready in case the humidity spikes, and my hygrometer on myself and others to tell myself and others when it does. It is mainly in the summer time and the Springtime time that the humidity actually becomes an issue, I usually don’t have to worry so much in fall and winter. If this is an issue you are dealing with, then the two of us would recommend getting a dehumidifier, it actually does solve the humidity issue.
