Earlier this year in the spring when the weather started heating up, the air conditioning tore up in our house! I was really mad about it when it happened because I always feel like things go wrong for me at the most inopportune times. For instance, last fall, as soon as the weather started cooling down, the heating system broke down in our house. I mean, what are the odds of that happening? I just feel like the universe is completely against me sometimes because things don’t really ever seem to go my way. Anyway, back in the spring this year, I was really excited because I wanted to travel all summer long. I had a lot of money saved up and I had been planning on going on a big road trip. I am someone who is always looking for an adventure and so the thoughts of going out on a road trip all on my own for the summer really appealed to me. However, right when the weather started heating up outside, I found out that the air conditioning in the house was torn up. It was kind of scary, to tell you the truth. At first, I thought that my house was on fire. But no, it was just my central air conditioning system breaking down and ruining my plans for the summer.
