I have been working for the same heating and air conditioning company for 3 decades now.
And in all this time I have hardly ever called out sick for any reason other than maybe once a year when i was actually sick.
But recently, I have been in the process of moving across the city so I had to call out quite a few times to get prepared for my move. It was all ok though because there were plenty of heating and air conditioning specialists to take my place while I was out. We have some of the best heating and cooling experts in the business locally. And I am very fortunate to have been working for such a great heat and a/c company all of these years. We all pull together when needed, and with me having to call out from work, this was one of those times where the other heating and air conditioning specialists all came together to make it a smooth thing and nothing that was going to disrupt the daily going on of the heating and cooling company. It is not every single day that you have a bunch of workers in any type business like this. Especially the heating and air conditioning business. My move and all the preparations went on for roughly a month. And it was all laid out and planned for within myself and the other heating and air conditioning workers at the job who pitched in to work overtime so I could have this time off that I really needed.
