How did it get this way?

This is a weird thing to admit, despite the fact that I have no idea how to control my indoor environment right now; About a month ago I moved into this beach house with my roommates, plus apparently I never sufficiently checked things out.

When the people I was with and I were choosing our rooms, it made sense that they took the 2 front living rooms along with the residing room, then this meant, the thermostat was right in their area and I never truly ventured over there to take a good look.

We’ve been residing together for two full weeks now, plus everything has been going actually good as far as our residing set up… Except for a single thing. As the outdoor air temperature has hastily changed with the emergence of Spring, the indoor air pollen levels have followed suit. Just about each afternoon, it feels like the indoor air is a little bit warmer plus more humid. Throughout the afternoon, you can feel the indoor air pollen levels change as the sun comes out plus the outdoor temperature hastily starts to warm up. Inside, it becomes harshly nauseating plus uncomfortable. It feels stagnant and the air is oppressively thick with humidity and warmth. During the evening hours, this is a large problem for me. I haven’t been able to sleep well for multiple weeks due to the unlucky indoor air pollen levels plus air temperature. When I try to investigate the thermostat in the middle of the night for some sweet air conditioner release, I have no idea what I am doing. The buttons make no sense plus it seems as if there is no response from the Heating plus Air Conditioning equipment. I have been sweating it out for multiple weeks, even though I believe that it’s time for me to talk to my roommates about how the thermostat works.
