Advertisements are really getting bad nowadays. Everywhere I go there seems to be some form of advertising, and I am just really sick of it. It used to not be this way. I used to be able to watch videos without worrying about an ad, or play a game on my mobile phone, and not worry about ads in the games. Now it seems like they add as many commercials as they possibly can squeeze in. Needless to say, ad blocker has become my best friend. One of the ads I have been continually seeing is about SEER rated heating and air conditioning products. From my limited knowledge on HVAC technology, I know that SEER ratings are basically the energy efficient ratings, and the better SEER rating the better and more efficient an air conditioner system is. While I am used to seeing ads from this particular HVAC business, usually they focus around air purifiers, dehumidifiers and HEPA filters. Now it seems they are promoting their best SEER rated HVAC equipment. That’s great for people who are looking to purchase a new HVAC system, but I am currently not in the market for one, so it is annoying to constantly see commercials from them. On the bright side, I’ve seen the ad so many times, I now know what models are really energy efficient, so whenever I go searching for a new HVAC device, I will have an idea what to look for. Although, probably by then, the technology would be much greater than it is now.
