I’ve never been a huge fan of flying on planes, and after a recent experience, I am even more fatigued about flying on planes.
- I had gone to a funeral, so I basically had no option but to fly! The funeral service was nice plus it was superb to see all of our family members; then honestly, even the flight out to the funeral location wasn’t so bad.
I thought maybe flying wasn’t so bad after all this time. The cooling system at my seat worked nice plus I felt comfortable plus relaxed! Even the air quality on the flight out wasn’t bad. The experience coming back to my apartment though was terrible. First of all, when I was waiting on the plane, the temperature control settings in the airport were terrible. If that wasn’t bad enough, they stopped me to frisk me after I already went through the scanner machine. Maybe they thought I looked suspicious because I was perspiring profusely, but that’s because the air conditioning was not really working truly well in the airport. Then I had to wait in that airport on the plane which was delayed for roughly an hour. I was dying in the heat thanks to the lack of air conditioning. Finally, the two of us got on the plane plus I was really thankful that the cooling system on the plane actually felt pretty nice. That was until they had to shut down the plane because of some electrical malfunction; we sat there while they were really working to service the issue plus the plane became even more hot than the inside of the airport. Finally, the two of us switched to a separate plane because it was determined that the original plane was not safe. It was such a horrible experience all in all.
