If you want to make it in this life, you have to live by certain rules and guidelines. When you make those rules, you have to make sure to live by them. If you break the rules, you’re just going to fall off. I have a rule about being respectful towards others and I expect respect in return. I don’t associate with people who don’t know how to act civilized. One of the most important rules in my home is to keep up with the HVAC system. I can’t deal with poor air quality and I don’t tolerate any kind of dust buildup in my home. This is why I make sure to have my HVAC system cleaned out regularly and maintained. I also have the ductwork cleaned once per year so that we have excellent air quality regularly. It also helps that we have a nice air purification system and a humidifier for superior air quality. The humidifier really works wonders in the winter months, that’s for certain. I don’t accept any horseplay in my home and I expect the kids to be well behaved. I realize that sometimes kids will just be kids, so I am not too hard on them when it comes to punishments. When we are having dinner, everybody has to sit at the dinner table and we always pray before our meals. I am relatively strict with the family, but this is why they respect me. It’s also imperative that when people come into the house, for them to remove their shoes and place them on the shoe rack. I do not want dust or dirt in my home!
