Installing ductless mini splits for family and friends

They didn’t like going through the HVAC professionals and having a terribly costly installation.

When I learned how to install a ductless mini split, I honestly had no idea that everybody in my family would ask me to help them out. I naturally wanted to show off my new HVAC system. I have 5 zones in my house and I took care of this thing entirely on my own. I think the hardest thing to move around was probably the condenser unit and I was extra careful when placing that on a slab that was level. The important thing when maintaining these things is that you want to keep any debris away from around the condenser. You don’t want weeds or anything like that growing around and clogging up your HVAC. You also have to figure out the best places to drill the 3.5 inch hole through the wall. You will require a new hole for every single indoor zone you add to your home. You also can get customized line sets that are certain lengths. You can get line set extensions if you have a more sizable home with a zone that is far from the outdoor condenser unit. When family members learned about how cheap this system was, they were all practically begging me to install something similar. They didn’t like going through the HVAC professionals and having a terribly costly installation. I warned everybody that their warranty would be void, but they still were okay with it. I installed numerous ductless mini splits for family members, and honestly I have had no complaints. Now I even have friends asking me to hook them up. I think I might have to start charging more for doing this.
