I try to treat all the people with respect and expect a modicum of respect to be returned. But that’s not regularly the case. I happen to have a buddy who seems to just be waiting for me to come out of the central a/c of our home. Actually, I have wondered if she did look out the window and wait until she could ambush me on our way to the car. The woman is not the worst human being in the world however she isalso pretty arrogant and just has an ultimate need to be right. I can handle that for hours at a time if I’m in our normal frame of mind. But the other day, our buddy caught me in a mood and touched on a subject that I’m pretty passionate about. She decided to come over and tell me what an idiot I am for getting Heating, Ventilation, and A/C repair. I know she saw the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C supplier van in our driveway doing the heating repair a few weeks back. I’m love clockwork when it comes to Heating, Ventilation, and A/C repair. I get the heating repair at around the same time each fall. And I follow that up with a a/c tune up at the same time each Spring. So our buddy decided she needed to share with me that this was stupid and a waste of money. And it just caught me wrong, frankly. I ended up genuinely setting him straight about the value of Heating, Ventilation, and A/C repair. And then I kindly told him to keep her opinions about our heating and cooling to himself.
