I could tell my pal and I are heading into summer, because of the spike in rapidly changing temperatures.
It went from being cool most of the afternoons of the week, to being hot most afternoons of the week.
And do you know what Summer means for a Heating and A/C worker? Busy, then very busy, with long afternoons of working on heating and cooling units, afternoon in and afternoon out. Summer is entirely the busiest season for us, because my pal and I live in a pretty heated area, and because of that, my pal and I regularly are having calls for a/c component repair, or cooling system upgrade. I consistently dread the summer, because working in extreme rapidly changing temperatures, for longer hours, is never fun. It is rewarding though, because I prefer helping people, and periodically our boss pays us extra, because a lot of the heating and cooling workers don’t want to work that much during the summer. So it can be nice, especially when it comes to building a savings account. But I know until the Summer season is over, I am going to be working until it is dark. Another fact is the fact that our cooling system supplier is entirely a 24/7 business. My superb friend and I never close, this is mainly for Heating and A/C emergencies, however periodically I will be working on boilers and cooling system devices all the way till 10:00 pm at night! Most other a/c companies won’t do this, which does make our heating and cooling system business more popular among the other businesses. Summer is just a tied up season for all cooling system workers.
