The bee situation was worse than I thought

I own quite a few rental properties.

You learn which tenants complain all the time and which ones don’t.

I have certain renters that I typically ignore when they whine to me. My one tenant Becky constantly has issues. She has called me before to tell me her shower is leaking so bad that there is water all over the floor. I thought there was a major plumbing repair needed. Instead she just needed to remove the hair from the tub drain. I didn’t take it seriously when she told me there was a swarm of bees in her entryway. I just told her to buy bee spray and stop calling me. She kept calling and calling. It wasn’t until the renter on the other side of the duplex told me he heard lots of buzzing that I went to check it out. I brought over a can of bee spray and figured that was a good enough weapon. There were so many bees that I was shocked that my renter could get into her home. The nests were giant and the bees were angry sounding. I immediately had to get my renter out and call an exterminator. Once they sprayed and killed all the yellow jackets, the bodies were shocking. There were so many bees that they had to vacuum up. I cleaned the hallway, sprayed it down and got it safe for Becky. I feel bad that she had to live with bees so long but that is what you get when you cry wolf. Hopefully that isn’t a yearly occurrence with the bees.
