There are some things that are very difficult for the human mind to understand.
Something that really gets me is the whole concept of infinity.
While it’s difficult to imagine that these things have always existed and things will always exist, you wonder how it couldn’t have just started someplace. Or did it start someplace? But at the same time how could there just be nothing. I can’t even imagine there being nothing, no universe or planets or stars. It really boggles the mind. It makes me wonder though, if there really is a true infinity then perhaps there are infinite things all scattered throughout. There could be multiple dimensions, maybe we live parallel lives. Who knows, I could be a skilled HVAC technician in one reality and be an NBA superstar in another reality. I guess you could save it might be like that sci-fi series called sliders where these people crack the code to travel between parallel realities. It’s kind of like whatever you could possibly imagine might exist somewhere in the universe, but we might never be really connected to that reality, or could we? When we pass away from this life, will we even require HVAC systems and advanced technology? Will we even require light bulbs or even fire to cook meals? Would my advanced radiant heated flooring technology be a joke when I go to heaven? I sort of imagine that we might be so advanced if we get to a place like heaven, we might have total control of our internal temperature control settings. Like if we want to feel warmer, we probably can just think it into existence. That would be completely nuts.
