I will fix a leak today in our plumbing and then my flat is back up to snuff again.
I have a small flat and my friend is going to come for a visit for a few days and sleep in my office.
She is going to a big dancing convention near me and wanted to come for a visit while she is here. I’ve known her for about five years, as she was my ex-girlfriend’s best friend, and we remained friends even after my ex and I broke up. She has a boyfriend who works in the heating and cooling technology sector and I am also good friends with him too. We will hang out while she is here and catch up on old times while maybe cooking some meals together before she leaves and heads to her dance party thing. I will go work at the heating dealership during the day while she works from my flat online doing her thing, and then we will make a fire in the fireplace when I get home and talk about life. Sometimes I wish she didn’t have a boyfriend because I like her, but I will keep it in the friend zone and we will still have a great time while she is here. I may have to run my heating system a bit when she is here if the temps drop too low at night, as my heated floors can only do so much to keep the room warm during the colder nights we have been having lately.
