I will admit that I bought my house because of the windows. I have a large kitchen that has a half wall it shares with the living room. The living room is at the back of the house and is just gorgeous. There is a brick fireplace, tall wood ceilings and hardwood floors. The back wall is floor to ceiling windows. It looks amazing and offers so much natural light. The room looks modern and yet rustic. I love watching movies at night with the moon and stars visible. I love having a crackling fire but seeing my trees just outside. I noticed that when I am outside the house the windows just look black. Upon further investigation I realized the homeowner must have done a sun control window film or just a window tint. It offers sun protection, privacy and looks way better. I have been in my home for almost a year and I have noticed it is wearing away. Outside I can see inside my house a bit. I have started to notice the living room feels hotter and there is a glare on the TV. I was originally quite worried about hiring out window tinting maintenance services. I just needed them to patch up the existing layer. The windows are so large and cover quite a distance. I was thinking it would be thousands rather than hundreds. I haven’t gotten the update on the window tint yet, but so far everything looks to be cheap and simple. I will go right back to having my amazing living room again.
