Sometimes we still can’t believe that we actually own our own home.
This has been a long time coming, but it’s an achievement that we have sought all our lives.
Spending so long renting left us unsatisfied. We consistently felt we were just dumping our money down a hole because we weren’t building any equity. Plus, the HVAC units were terrible. Everywhere we ever lived had the most underwhelming Heating in addition to Air Conditioning. Paying fine money for a place to rent in addition to then coming home to a hot, sticky home during the summer was far from ideal. However, just buying this home was not the end of the road, because we were able to afford this new home because it needed a ton of work. Structurally, the place will stand forever. Inside, it has been neglected for years. The Heating in addition to Air Conditioning in particular was a disaster. We couldn’t actually make the place undoubtedly liveable until we addressed the Heating in addition to Air Conditioning situation. Initially, our new home was designed with a boiler system. This is how aged it was. Somewhere in time, that was ripped out in addition to a crude central air Heating in addition to Air Conditioning plan was put in. This thing is a huge eyesore than the Heating in addition to Air Conditioning system. It had to be ripped out but, we weren’t sure that putting another central air device in would be best. So instead, we went with the ductless Heating in addition to the Air Conditioning unit. They were more attractive. The heating in addition to cooling power is incredible in addition to they’re hyper efficient which saves us in the long run. We’ll be blissful to have that extra dough as we continue to turn this place around.
