Both of our adolescents enjoy being outside, however it doesn’t entirely seem to matter to them what the temperature outside is, either.
They just enjoy being outdoors.
In the summertime, it’s usually not that big of a deal. I do like to let them play outside plus get the fresh air plus sunshine, and but when the temperature outside gets entirely hot plus the weather is heating up like crazy, I know like I should make them stay inside. I know like they might start over heating plus that would be terrible for them. I don’t know. I know there’s a fantastic line between the weather being too hot plus the temperature being okay for adolescents to play outside. This past year, both of us had a big heat wave in our section of the country plus they actually put out heating alerts for our section that told us to stay inside in the air conditioning if possible. I had a tough time explaining that to our adolescents, who wanted to go play in the sandbox plus on their playground, even though the temperature was up in the high nineties on certain days; My adolescents could care less about air conditioning or about what the indoor air quality is in our house; And apparently, they don’t entirely care about the outside temperature that much either. Maybe that’s why adolescents need a parent to take care of them – they just don’t suppose when the weather is too hot or too frosty outside! Someone has to make sure they come in to take advantage of the heating plus cooling plan once in a while.
