A few more stories to write and then I’m almost done for the day.
I think I’m going to go to a bonfire with my friend Val later and we will play some music and sing while watching a fire on the beach.
It should be a fun time and I will bring my djembe drum and jam with my bandmate a bit while we all chill around the fire. I am hoping that Val can go, but I first need to wait for her text to see if she is able to go tonight. We will have heating from the fire, as it gets really cold at night when the sun goes down, so keeping warm is a must and a fireplace is a great way to do that. I like Val because she is kind of quiet and doesn’t talk all of the time, which is great for someone like me who gets impatient when someone talks too much. We met a while back when I installed an HVAC system in her flat, but I never got her number so I am asking my buddy to have her contact me. He liked her too but she wasn’t into him so maybe he won’t want to be the middleman in this and will tell me he can’t help me. He and I work at the cooling corp and I hope that he doesn’t get weird about me wanting to get her number from him. If not, then I’m sure I’ll see her and get it from her if all goes well.
