With so many family members in one home, it was necessary to get Heating plus A/C zone control, but for a few years my family and I relied on 1 central Heating plus A/C unit, it was constantly a fight controlling the control system.
I was wanting some A/C in the family room while I cooked… My hubby demanded heating for when she was in her office.
My adolescents could never agree on a control unit setting in the playroom. Eventually I decided enough is enough! The central Heating plus A/C proposal died and I changed it out with a ductless multi chop system. I have several outdoor air compressors and two indoor air handlers, and every room of the lake house has an air handler plus a control unit. That means each room of the lake house can be set to a certain temperature separate from affecting the other one. I am able to have cooling while I cook at the same time my hubby has the heating system on in the office. The adolescents are willing to provide a little bit now. They compromise on living room and playroom temperatures since they each have a kitchen with the right amount of Heating plus A/C, and zone control is not only amazing when it comes to keeping the peace, however it is quite energy efficient. Unused rooms now don’t get any Heating plus A/C. In the Summer my hubby doesn’t even want AC. It seems care about the Heating plus A/C component hardly needs to work anymore. Due to the fact that the workload is not as rough, there are less repairs plus tune ups required on the system. I have even observed that separate from HVAC duct anymore, the air quality even feels fresher. Zone control might be the most amazing thing that has happened to us.
