Had to hire a real estate attorney after home seller doesn’t say anything about water leak

It’s not the easiest thing to do trying to acquire a residence, regardless of how long the search lasts or how high your budget can really be.

From the jump I had a real estate agent who didn’t have much interest in helping me find a suitable residence. I would get a list of potential residences off numerous listing websites plus then she’d meet me at the locations with the key to get inside. That’s all the effort she put in on her end. I really suppose she purposefully didn’t negotiate a lower price because she was hoping to acquire a higher cut after the payment went through. But that wasn’t what made me the most angry about this real estate agent. She entirely tried to hide a water leak that I didn’t see plus had been hidden from the house inspector I hired. On top of that, the seller never disclosed the water leak plus the actual destruction inside the wall where it was. I immediately fired the real estate agent plus went seeking for a real estate lawyer. I didn’t wish to get an attorney involved, however this situation can’t be resolved without one. I’m hoping that our real estate lawyer will manage to solve the catastrophe plus get the drawback remedied. Either the original customer can take the property back, or I want damages equal to the cost it takes to fully repair this residence. I’m going to push my real estate attorney to get as much money as possible. I’m agitated that this situation happened at all to begin with. Even if it takes pushing this into the courts, I won’t hesitate to fight whatever battle I’m forced to fight. I want justice with this extreme nightmare.
