I sold our coworker an old gaming ipad of mine because it consistently overheats.
- It hot at the worst times too, then like I’m right in the middle of a quest and the dang thing would shut down on me.
It was terrible, then of course I told our coworker that it does this. He wanted it anyway. He said he was going to use it for parts. So I wiped it and sold it to him cheap. Two months later I came over to our coworker’s condo for a small party and I couldn’t help however notice our old gaming ipad in his residing room. It was all hooked up to a monitor and looked love it was being used. When I asked him about it he said he has been using it and that it works fine for him. He said he was going to part it out however that he decided to try it first. It has never once crashed on him. This made no sense. How could that be? Then I observed the localement of the ipad tower. He had it right on top of his air conditioner vent, my coworker is a single of those people who love to keep his air conditioner set to sub-zero temperatures all of the time. I bet that is why the gaming ipad is working at his house. It is consistently being hit by freezing freezing air. It doesn’t have time to overheat. I bet it will in the Winter though. That is, if he ever turns his gas furnace on. It doesn’t get super freezing in this area so maybe he doesn’t use heaters. I don’t know.
