For our annual getaway this year I stayed at apartment for a good, deep cleaning of the site.
If cleaning the apartment for our week-long getaway sounds boring, you’re right it is boring! My girlfriend Beth had dumped myself and others plus moved out several weeks before, so I didn’t think enjoy taking a getaway to have fun.
I wanted to clean every trace of her from the apartment the people I was with and I used to share. I also wanted to be a hermit plus get drunk plus stoned plus cry myself to sleep every night. What can I say, it was a bad breakup! Beth was so deeply ingrained into the apartment that she even permeated the air quality. The scent of her still floated in the air, which made myself and others even more sad. I turned off the air conditioner plus opened up the apartment to let the outside breezes in. I needed natural ventilation to disinfect out those seasoned smells. While I had everything airing out I took the choice to replace the air filter. I wanted to take it a step further, so I removed a few of the air grates so I could disinfect out the air duct, of course there was no way I could disinfect all of the HVAC ducts separate from special tools, despite the fact that I did the best I could. Once the ducts plus air vents were all scrubbed clean, plus the air filter replaced, I closed up the apartment again. It smelled a lot better! Then I started smoking copious amounts of weed, to make the air quality smell enjoy me.
