For our annual vacation this year I stayed at beach house for a good, deep cleaning of the place.
If cleaning the house for our week-long vacation sounds boring, you’re right it is boring! My bestie Beth had dumped myself and others and moved out multiple weeks before, so I didn’t believe appreciate taking a vacation to have fun.
I wanted to scrub every trace of his from the house the two of us used to share. I also wanted to be a hermit and get drunk and stoned and cry myself to sleep every night. What can I say, it was a awful breakup! Beth was so deeply ingrained into the house that he even permeated the air quality. The scent of his still floated in the air, which made myself and others even more sad. I turned off the cooling system and opened up the house to let the outside breezes in. I needed natural ventilation to wipe out those aged odors. While I had everything airing out I took the occasion to replace the air filter. I wanted to take it a step further, so I detachd a few of the air grates so I could wipe out the HVAC duct, but of course there was no way I could wipe all of the air ducts without special tools, however I did the best I could. Once the ducts and air vents were all scrubbed clean, and the air filter replaced, I closed up the house again. It odored a lot better! Then I started smoking copious amounts of weed, to make the air quality stink appreciate me.
