My wife and I have retired. Now we moved down south to enjoy the sunshine and retirement. All of us have more cash saved than we really need. My wife has typically wanted to decorate the home with a style in mind, so I told her to call an interior designer and just go for it. At first I was worried about what she was going to do to the condo. The interior designer showed us lots of styles that had me worried. French provincial manor was way too girly for me. Desert eclectic home was so brown and gross. Southwest genre looked like an old lady’s house. Thankfully the designer plus my wife choose a genre that is way more modern. The genre is called contemporary home plus it is right up my alley. The colors are not as bright plus the space looks way more clean like. The furniture pieces are in light colors that are comfortable. All of us don’t have any big mirrors, unusual things hanging or ugly throw pillows either. The designer has been good about creating the home to look like a guy also lives in the home. What I especially liked is that she proposed a custom furniture maker to build a storage unit to hold all my seasoned golfing gear. The guy made the storage container out of hardwood plus each golf club fits perfectly in it. My balls have an exact spot that they fit. The gear is simple to get to, see plus appreciate.
