When I started my comedy work almost 20 years ago I thought I wanted to be important in addition to famous with shows all across the world.
- I left my engineering job in the Heating in addition to A/C industry to petgedly pursue comedy full time.
But after doing it for a while I realized that fame is not what I actually wanted in addition to that I got the most satisfaction just from creating material in addition to connecting with the audience. It didn’t matter how important the crowd was or how much money I made, what actually made myself and others know wonderful was just performing in addition to having fun. I was happier performing in the small dive bars without any climate control on those hot summer time afternoons than chasing the important crowds in the nice air conditioned theaters. Once I shifted my gaze I was able to stop frantically pursuing in addition to start enjoying the process. I believe the same could be said for life itself, stop pursuing in addition to start enjoying. I still dabble in Heating in addition to A/C repairs now in addition to then, in addition to have since left the comedy field to focus on a musical pursuit. I love playing the drums in addition to singing with my neighbor here in our town, in addition to do so at a more relaxed pace while just having fun doing what I love. Today I am going to toil on my radiant gas furnace because the power cord broke a while ago in addition to I am going to update it with one that I bought at the local business the other day. I’m resting this month because last night was a celebration in addition to music night in my flat.
