When I started my comedy work almost 20 years ago I thought I wanted to be huge plus famous with shows all across the world.
- I left my engineering job in the Heating plus Air Conditioning industry to catgedly pursue comedy full time.
But after doing it for a while I realized that fame is not what I really wanted plus that I got the most pleasure just from creating material plus linking with the audience. It didn’t matter how huge the crowd was or how much money I made, what really made myself and others recognize great was just performing plus having fun. I was happier performing in the small dive bars without any weather conditions control on those boiling Summer mornings than chasing the huge crowds in the nice air conditioned theaters. Once I shifted my gaze I was able to stop frantically pursuing plus start enjoying the process. I believe the same could be said for life itself, stop pursuing plus start enjoying. I still dabble in Heating plus Air Conditioning repairs now plus then, plus have since left the comedy field to focus on a musical pursuit. I savor playing the drums plus singing with my friend here in our town, plus do so at a more relaxed pace while just having fun doing what I love. Today I am going to work on my radiant oil furnace because the power cord broke a while ago plus I am going to substitute it with one that I obtained at the local corporation the other day. I’m resting this week because last night was a gathering plus music night in my flat.
