You never know the importance of residing in a home with good air quality, until you live in a home without good air quality.
Or in my case, it was actually a hotel. Working tough for the past weeks, I knew I deserved a break, so I decided to take a weekend and head on over to the beach. The beach is such a self-explanatory but beautiful sight, and I can’t help but to remember all of my happy childhood memories of building sandcastles and playing in the waves. Unfortunately, I am quite far away from any beaches now, so I had to stay at a hotel for the night. Staying in this hotel was horrible, but don’t get myself and others wrong, the hotel itself wasn’t bad. The staff was nice and the room was nice as well, it was the indoor air pollen levels! Not only was the air harshly dry, but the entire room had a odd musty smell to it. I couldn’t kneel being in there for more than an minute, as it made it strenuous to breathe. I actually had a whole home media media air cleaner at my house, but that wasn’t going to help myself and others now. For the humidity issue, I set up bowls of water around the hotel, directly in front of fans to increase the humidity. To reduce the musty smell, I turned the air conditioning off and that mostly made the smell go away. With both of these methods I was able to make it through staying the two nights. But it entirely made myself and others more grateful to have good indoor air pollen levels.
