My wife and I are buying a home with a wonderful cooling system.
- Every single home she and I have ever lived in has had a terrible cooling system, until now.
I don’t know how this ended up being, but for the past 15 years of our marriage, we have only lived in homes lacking a central air system. Instead, it’s been attic fans, ceiling fans, and window air conditioning units. And while some window units do a fairly good job, they just aren’t the best at cooling an entire home. Buying a home with a quality central air system is what I want; it is something the two of us have never had before. We want to move to another town, but that’s not even the main reason to move, in my opinion. I just want to make sure the HVAC system is going to be better than anything we have ever had before. If we don’t do that, then I don’t think that there is even any point to moving. I told my wife that I’m not even going to look at any houses without central cooling already installed, because I am not interested in having to buy and install one. I have lived in houses without air conditioning for way too long already. I’m just not willing to do it again. This house is going to be the one that the two of us stay in for the next 40 years!
