The other day my partner and I thought it would be a fun date night idea to go out to the movies and catch a new movie that we had been wanting to see for quite a long time. Because my birthday was just a few days prior I had a few gifts that she had given me, one of those being a new shirt. Despite the fact that it was freezing cold outside and I was pretty sure that it was going to be cold at the movies, I still wore the shirt to make her happy. Well, upon arriving at the venue we realized that the air conditioning system in the theater was running at maximum capacity. After about fifteen minutes into the movie I was so cold that I went to the front office and asked if it was possible for them to do something about the extreme temperature that the air conditioning was producing. Sadly they said that they wouldn’t be able to do anything about it for the time being, however they would be able to give me a blanket. I gladly accepted the blanket, and I was able to fend off the frigid A/C set temperature for the duration. It ended up being an amazing movie, and despite the fact that I was extremely cold for the majority of it I actually had a good time. After we got home I spent the rest of my night next to the heated gas furnace warming up. I am already looking forward to next week’s date night, I just hope that next week we can find a more comfortable movie theater!
