It was frigid in the room that evening, until some time in the middle of the evening when the cooling system started blowing moderate air again.
The people I was with and I chose a place known for its heat, humidity, and waterways to take our trip. The people I was with and I had plans of windsurfing and kayaking and waterfront dining and frigid a/c to cuddle up in the motel at evening, and on our first day there, the motel a/c worked great. In fact, everything about the motel was great. The bed was comfortable, the furnishings were tasteful, and the two of us had an awesome view. I couldn’t have been more gratified. The people I was with and I went canoeing the first day. The people I was with and I used sunshine block but I know the two of us didn’t use it often enough because the two of us both got nasty sunburns. The people I was with and I still slept well that evening with just the sheets and cool a/c. The minute day the two of us took the trolley downtown to do some shopping and when the two of us got back, the a/c was blowing moderate air. The people I was with and I got back early and the maintenance man was still on duty. The people I was with and I decided to go to the pool to get out from underfoot while she diagnosed the cooling system. When the maintenance man was finished, she found us at the pool and informed us that the a/c was blowing frigid again. It particularly was. It was frigid in the room that evening, until some time in the middle of the evening when the cooling system started blowing moderate air again. Neither of us slept well at all. The people I was with and I ended up getting a current room at the same motel the next day. I could have let it get myself and others down but I didn’t. It was nothing however a minor inconvenience.
