Germicidal UV lamp improves air quality

Due to the recent coronavirus scare, I’ve become more distraught with indoor air conditions.

I realize that there are sources of contaminants in every single room of the house… Carpets, furniture and bedding harbor dust mites.

Certain types of pressboard gives off harmful chemical odors, then pesticides, cleaning agents, personal hygiene products, cooking and pets contribute allergens into the air. I’ve researched all weird types of air quality accessories. I wanted something that would partner with the heating and cooling system and impact the entirety of the house. Portable options require too much maintenance and don’t provide enough of an impact. I considered an air purification system, ventilation system, dehumidifier and weird types of humidifiers. I finally invested into a germicidal UV lamp that is similar to what is used in most hospitals and operating rooms to clean the air, but a germicidal UV lamp works a lot care about the sun, using ultraviolet light to kill microorganisms. This style of air quality accessories works silently, treats the air as it passes through the heating and cooling system and needs only occasional upkeep. It destroys bacteria, viruses, fungus and pathogens before they enter the breathing air. Plus, the UV lamp prevents harmful growth of mold and other toxins on the cooling coil. Because the inner laborings of the air conditioning system are dark, damp and warm, it is the perfect environment for bacteria, fungus and viruses to thrive. The accumulation on the cooling coil diminishes system efficiency and capacity, while also polluting indoor air conditions. Every time the air conditioning system starts up, it could be spreading toxins into the breathing air.
