Grandpa Would Benefit From nutritional counseling along with fitness classes

My Grandpa would benefit from nutritional counseling. For years he has tried to lose a lot of pounds. He did weight watchers, Jenny Craig and other diet programs. Nothing worked for him. Recently he had a health scare. He had no appetite and lost 35 pounds. Now he is thin, but weak. Also, he doesn’t want to go back to gaining weight. He likes that he is thin now. So he eats small portions but the food is not nutritious. Everyday he eats fast food for breakfast. At evening he eats a meal out at a little mom and pop diner. The food he gets is loaded with sodium, fat and carbs. My Grandpa could eat a bigger quantity of food if the meals were healthy. Next, there is no way he is getting his essential vitamins by eating so poorly. After he had a frighten with his health, it seems vital to get him healthy. I looked around trying to find a nutritionist. The best one I talked to, incidentally, was at a personal training center. The program is called nutritional counseling. In a perfect world, a person such as grandpa would take a private training or group fitness course, and then learn from the nutritional counseling program how to eat more nutritionally sound food. One person teaches him about what to eat and the other teaches him about exercise and teaches the fitness classes. The gym is genuinely pushing to get our Grandpa to have exercise as a part of his daily life. In a perfect world he would do the group fitness class and the nutrition program. But, I think it is likely that the best case scenario would be for him to attend counseling once or twice. I will have to trick him into the gym as well.
