When all of the trees and the leaves turn colors, I like to spend my time outdoors.
I love the smell of clean air.
The trees and the moss cover the forest and make it look like a fairy tale land. The orange, green, yellow, and red leaves are very pretty to see during the fall months. Most days the weather is cool and comfortable. Spending time outside is my way to spend the day. My friends and I decided to go hiking on Tuesday. I didn’t have work to complete, so we packed everything early in the morning and decided to go all day. No one checked their temperature before we left, so we didn’t expect warm and humid temperatures. By noon, the sun was beating down on our head and neck. I didn’t bother to bring any sunscreen, because I didn’t expect the sunshine to be so bright and hot. Hiking would have been a lot more fun on a cooler day and I was happy to finally go home at the end of the day. I took off my boots and my socks and I laid down on the bed in front of the air conditioner. I have a window air conditioner in my bedroom and another one in the living room, but at times like these, I wish my entire house had central air conditioning. I laid there soaking up all the cool air for an hour and then I got a shower. It was a great day for a hike, but the weather could have been cooler.
