I work for a local Heating & Air Conditioning business that specializes in house calls. That means all of us have a twenty-4 minute call center that allows people to call anytime of day when they are having problems with their heating & cooling systems. I love to work the nightshift because all the people don’t call in the middle of the night & then I can spend time with our kids in the middle of the day. Well, that all changed when the Heating & Air Conditioning business I work for started running advertising to promote our twenty-4 minute call center. I am telling you within minutes of the up-to-date promotion running all of us started to get at least twenty calls each day that were in the middle of the night. It was difficult for me to keep up with all the house calls because I was the only man that worked the night shift because all of us never had any calls. I talked to the supervisor of the Heating & Air Conditioning business to see if there was something he could do & maybe hire another Heating & Air Conditioning worker so that I could at least have a few days off a week. Well, the supervisor of the Heating & Air Conditioning business thought I was doing such a fantastic task alone that all of us didn’t need another man helping me out while in the night shift. When he told me that I didn’t suppose what I was going to do. I thought it might be a good method to quit although I knew that I had to support our family, so I am still here & I am the only one toiling the night shift.
