I went to school to be a mechanical engineer & I am really adept at making repairs in my home, but i put a current roof on the home & current flooring inside, and there really aren’t a lot of things that I cannot do on my own.
I thought it was going to be easy to install my own ductless Heating & A/C unit. I contacted a wholesale corporation that sells ductless Heating & A/C equipment & I ordered items online from a site nearby, however shipping was supposed to be two days later & I was surprised when the ductless Heating & A/C equipment arrived on time. I thought it was going to be impossible for the wholesaler to get the items to me on time, however they must have sent them on a jet. I did not start on the project until a couple of days later. I decided to get all of the parts & pieces out of the box before I got started so I could look at everything. There seems to be a lot of equipment missing. I contacted the corporation & the person told me that all of the parts should have been in the box. I told them that I wanted a full refund because there was no way that I could install the system with half of the pieces missing. The dealership told me that I had to pay for the shipping costs & a restocking fee. I wanted a full refund, however they did not want to do anything to help me. I ended up having to call a professional repair & upgrade corporation nearby. They had the right equipment to install the system consistently.
