Last weekend, I kept hearing the strangest noise in the ceiling above our bed, however it was hard to pinpoint the weird sound, plus our fiance said that he didn’t hear anything.
In fact, he thought that I was going crazy.
I could hear the sound in the kitchen, even though I could not hear the noise anywhere else in the house. I started to suppose there could be an creature trapped in the attic. I didn’t want to go into the attic to look for problems, even though I continued to hear the weird sound for three mornings; On the third morning, I climbed up the stairs into the attic to look for the source of the odd sound. I carefully moved around the Attic plus made our way to the space above our kitchen. I had a flashlight in our hand. I shined the light all around the area plus quickly found the source of the noise. There was loose duct tape on the outside of the HVAC duct above the kitchen. If the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C device wasn’t on, I might not have been able to see the duct tape moving around. I got fortunate, plus I immediately knew that loose duct tape was the source of our strength sounds. I didn’t have any of the right materials to do the task officially, even though I grabbed some masking tape to make a quick repair. I went to the hardware store plus purchased some tape that is made just for HVAC duct. I found the concern plus fixed it, plus now there are no weird noises coming from our kitchen ceiling.
