I have always had a good attitude towards everything in life.
I try not to let things bother me because I know that would never do any good.
Instead, I always try to make light of the situation. Even if I can just tell a good joke to lighten the mood, I find things like this always help when people are distressed. A few winters ago, we actually had the heating system break down in the middle of the winter season. My wife was really freaking out, but I said that everything was going to be okay. She actually started getting mad at me because I didn’t have the HVAC system maintenance before the winter season. Instead of getting into some type of argument, I had backup portable heaters that I pulled up from the basement and strategically placed throughout the house. Even though we had to depend on those portable heaters for a little while, they worked pretty good to keep the house nice and warm. There may have been a little bit of a draft in the household, but we were okay enough until we had an HVAC technician over to repair the central heating system. It was great because we didn’t have to spend money for a hotel or anything extravagant like that. After that experience, I decided to enroll in an HVAC system maintenance plan so that I would never forget to get the crucial HVAC system tune-ups before the peak seasons. This way my wife would never be able to blame me for forgetting about the HVAC system maintenance.
