I need to lose 15 pounds for the summer, so I’m going back to the gym

The good news is, I got my membership at a huge discount because I am a new member to this gym

At the end of last year, I made a promise to get back into the gym and begin working out again. And like many of us, about 45 days into the year, I stopped going for one reason or another. I made so many excuses that included work, the kids, dinner, grocery store, etc. Any excuse that I could use to justify not going to the gym, I used it. It was fine for a while, but now that the weather is getting warmer, I feel that I need to get back at least to lose the 15 pounds that I gained over the last two years. I had a personal trainer, and she was not happy when I decided to stop going to the gym. She tried her best to convince me to stay on track and if I had listened, I wouldn’t be where I am right now. I don’t feel unhealthy, but I won’t be able to wear most of my Summer clothes. So yes, instead of buying an entire closet of clothes, it makes more sense to spend the money on a gym membership. The good news is, I got my membership at a huge discount because I am a new member to this gym. They recently built a gym in my neighborhood, and it makes it a lot more convenient for me because I can now work out on the weekends as well. I know that I won’t lose all 15 pounds before the start of the Summer, but at least I took the action of getting back into the gym again.
