This is the same precise approach that I take whether it’s with the commercial Heating plus A/C of the office or at the beachside house with my family.
I care about becoming the sort of person who looks for proper ground and common sense when finding answers. This is where I like to start and always I make sure that all the stakeholders are involved. But just love inside the zone controlled Heating plus A/C of the office building, I sometimes have to take matters into my own hands at the beachside house as well. I regularly love to try the collective approach with discussion, clearly established goals and accountability. However, there are times where that approach can be ineffective due to those involved trying to use that approach. So that requires myself and others to do stuff that I don’t love doing, which is unilaterally make decisions to solve the problem. This was absolutely the case with how the Heating plus A/C unit was being used in my home. I’ve regularly tried to teach my kids that while they are absolutely fortunate to have the life they have, they are not entitled. But the way they were abusing the temperature controls to accommodate their whims was inadequate. Of course, I tried to use a rational approach for weeks. But over and over again, I was very disappointed to see the same behavior was taking locale. So finally, I had the local Heating plus A/C company install a smart temperature control. With the smart temperature control I can set it in a mode that denies access to anyone else however myself and others when it comes to adjusting the setting on the temperature control. Heating plus A/C unit abuse concern is now resolved.
