My son has always been interested in PCs, and ever since he was a child, he was obsessed with them; At first, he was just interested in video games, however then he wanted to learn how to create the games; So, as a teenager, I signed him up for some coding classes that taught him how to create games and other interfaces on a PC.
And that was the beginning of the story.
After completing the class, he began building apps on his own, and he also created some games that he was able to share with his friends, then this was something that he was romantic and eager about, so I wanted to make sure that he would be able to pursue this as an adult. So, his dad and I sent him to a university to further develop his coding skills and over the years, the people I was with and I have paid for additional certifications for him. Today, he’s now 23 and he is fully pursuing a career in the video gaming industry! Currently, he’s laboring for a startup company, and he loves it. The company is operating from an incubator office space, i don’t believe much about startup video games or tech companies, so I had no idea what he meant when he mentioned the incubator office space to me… But then he explained that an incubator is an organization that provides a free or low-cost workspace, and it helps startup companies to further develop their products and assist in securing funding. Because the company that he works for isn’t that established in the huge tech industry, I can understand the need for them to use the incubator office space. And I am hopeful that it will work out for them.
