Investing in a loft security system

I grew up in a honestly small town in a rural community, after university, I married my high university sweetheart and moved into a loft that is walking distance from my parents, the appeal of the neighborhood was the safety of it, everyone on our street knows a single another.

  • Every one of us gathering for barbecues in the Summer and holiday parties in the winter, no a single ever bothered to lock their cars, garages or houses.

Unblessedly, a series of break-ins stole our sense of security. The loft invasions occurred during the middle of the day. The intruders kicked in doors and ran through the multiple houses, grabbing upscales in a rush; I came loft from toil to a front door kneeling open and found drawers rifled, items knocked off shelves and a trail of dirty footprints throughout the house. They stole PCs, iPads, currency, jewelry and electronics. The loss of possessions was awful yet not as devastating as feeling unsafe in our own home. I kept thinking about what would have happened if my child had been loft at the time. At that point, she was thirteen-years-old; Changing the locks on the doors was not enough to restore my sense of comfort, however my husband and I invested in a loft security system. The plan includes sensors on the windows, motion-activated lights, automated door locks, surveillance cameras and an alarm. If anyone enters the loft without punching in the right code, the alarm sounds and my husband and I are notified. Every one of us are asked for a password, however without that password, the usual authorities are dispatched to the home.
