Last summer season was our initial summer season down south.
I had just moved to the region a few months prior.
I was not actually ready for how warm I was at home. Then our air-conditioner machine stopped working, dead in the middle of hot season! Of course it was going to cost even more for a Heating and Air Conditioning serviceman to come to our residence ASAP. Beyond that because it was in the middle of the hot season, all the Heating and Air Conditioning providers I reached out to had a pretty long waiting list as they were busy at this particular time of year. I had no choice really, and had to wait a few days before somebody was able to come out. When they did, the Heating and Air Conditioning machine professional told me the disappointing news that our whole A/C machine was pretty messed up, and that any short term service would almost surely mean that I would need more a/c repairs soon-very possibly even later the same summer season. The HVAC machine was undoubtedly outdated and inefficient, so I thought it would be best to go for it and have a whole new a/c installed right away. But because it was the busy season I still had to wait a few days for the Heating and Air Conditioning provider to come back, and coming back from work while in that month was not so pleasant. The residence basically felt like being inside an oil furnace. As I had just moved, I didn’t undoubtedly know anybody well enough to ask to stay at their residence while I waited for our new air-conditioner machine to be installed. It was completely too warm to sleep in our residence and it showed in my work at when I was working at the office! Fortunately the new a/c machine was installed eventually, although not soon enough for me to avoid making a bunch of mistakes at work that were a direct result of my lack of sleep and stress that was caused by the whole situation with my HVAC machine.
