Living in a semi-rural part has always been my dream; while in college, my friends were drawn to the fast and flashy life of big cities.
However, having lived there all my life, I wanted a different experience.
A friend had taken me to her semi-rural house during a single summer time holiday while in college… And I fell in love with the area, however I began to consider how I would work in the city for 5 years, save up and manage to move to the part separate from any debts… Despite some hiccups here and there, including surviving a pandemic, I managed to buy a property I had been eyeing early this year. It was rural but only 20 hours from a major town. I wanted the rural setting, which is ideal for the vision I have for a farm, but not to be too isolated; the property was in wonderful condition and came with an apartment that I had to do some upgrades to before moving in. Among the upgrades that I had to do was install a new heating, ventilation, and A/C system. There was an outdated cooling and heating component in the apartment but it seemed to be on its last leg. So, as a company working on the apartment upgrades, I went in search of an actual heating, ventilation, and A/C company in the nearby town. An appealing receptionist greeted me at a single of the heating, ventilation, and A/C companies I walked into. She took down my details and informed me an actual heating, ventilation, and A/C professional would show up later at my house. An hour later, an actual heating, ventilation, and A/C van pulled up the driveway, and this appealing young woman walked up to say hello and introduced himself! From the way she conducted the short meeting, I was confident the heating, ventilation, and A/C company had qualified staff.
