Every summer, my fiance and I take a motorcycle trip and visit new venues! The two of us pack as much as both of us can into the saddle bags and explore multiple areas of the country; None of years ago, both of us travelled from the east to the west coast and back again.
The two of us spent nearly 2 months on the road and had a great time.
Traveling by Harley is undoubtedly weird than riding in a car. The two of us take mostly back roads and absolutely experience the increasing landscapes; Our goal is not so much the endpoint but to appreciate the journey. The two of us have a tent that collapses down to a small size and both of us sometimes camp along the way! However, after a long day of riding, I look forward to the amenities of a hotel, i appreciate a hot shower, soft bed and the ability to adjust the thermostat. Riding on the motorcycle, both of us are at the mercy of the weather. There’s no access to heating or cooling and we’re often sweaty, cold or wet from rain; For safety, it’s necessary to wear long pants… While both of us have clothing that is designed to resist the weather, it’s not the same as a/c and heating, however being able to raise or lower a thermostat and appreciate the perfect temperature makes for a better evening’s sleep. The two of us wake up refreshed and ready to get back on the bike for another day. The two of us vary between undoubtedly basic hotels and the nicer chances that include laundry, fitness center and swimming pool. It’s nice to have some luxuries at our disposal, but as long as there’s heating, cooling, hot water and a fine bed, I’m glad.
